some new faults, anyone point me in the right direction to getting them fixed,,,  the intake runner fault was coming now and again, now this?

as it says, check wiring to the flapper control or eventually replace flapper motor  :smiley:

i replaced the motor

so need to check the wiring, im no spark, what should i be looking for?

If the engine replacement didn't help i would replace the entire wiring loom, we did that on mine i believe it's app. 170£, that did the trick on mine  :happy2:

Just had my intake manifold runner motor replaced as mine was needing the basic setting doing every other week(only started with this problem a few week's after getting it mapped)  and it run's perfect now!Got my midrange power back and you can feel the turbo kicking in when it should do.

yes done the basic settings, but still keeps coming back  :sad1:

Just had my intake manifold runner motor replaced as mine was needing the basic setting doing every other week(only started with this problem a few week's after getting it mapped)  and it run's perfect now!Got my midrange power back and you can feel the turbo kicking in when it should do.

I have about 4 different sets of plugs all with low use on them... I could change over..

Just double check the nipples on the plugs are nice and tight.

I get the same runner faults on cars with and without Nology plugs, but its worth checking the nipples are all good.

I just changed them over to try it for a week, put the NKG 7's in, as that's what I had in just before I changed to the nology plugs...

What exactly am I looking for on the nipples, just making sure they are tight enough?
