Title: Alloy/tyre couriers
Post by: Janner_Sy on August 07, 2013, 09:58:04 pm
Evening all.

Can anyone recommend a well priced and reliable tyre/alloy courier service?

I have a set of 4 x 17" alloys with tyres that i will need to post from the Scottish Highlands (IV36 postcode)

TIA

Seems pretty well priced.  Had literally just pulled these up from google.  £20 cheaper than the others so far.  Cheers  :happy2:

Used Paisley Freight a few times, last time a couple of weeks ago shipping a mk5 bumper and never had a problem, on time with tracking provided. :happy2:

They are relatively cheap as their insurance is based on only being £5 per kilo for "popular services" items, If you want extra insurance to cover the actual cost then it mounts up. If your wheels/tyres are £500 then add £20, if £750 then add £25 etc etc etc

I've used Direct Courier Solutions twice and received good service!

I've used Parcel Monkey and Parcel2go on numerous occasions and have had no problems.
So long as the wheels have a ton of bubblewrap and cardboard you should have no problems as they only subcontract mainstream couriers
