anybody know of a how to on changing the cam follower. i have the new follower already so may as well change it when i do the fuel pump
-
If it doesnt come out when you take the pump out. Just put your little finger into the hole the pump fits into and pull it out.
Very very easy to do an once you have the pump off it will take literally 5 seconds to swap

Make sure you bleed the excess fuel from the pump via the Schrader valve before you start and dismantling!

which valve is the schrader valve?
-
and as Stu pointed out if you haven't disconnected the battery, don't open the drivers door as this primes the fuel system and you'll get wet

Its on the fuel pump body should have a dust cap on it, it operates like tyre inflation valve, press the needle in the middle to release pressure, better put a rag or similar around it when doing it though :happy2:

You might get the steering wheel warning lamp on the dash, you're not using REVO code so that should be ok.
