Title: Help! lost a clip
Post by: OSB on August 10, 2013, 10:00:44 am
There are 2 metal clips which hold the OEM engine cover to the turbo inlet pipe left hand back corner ....
Yesterday I managed to ping one off into who knows where! I cannot find it...
Tried the main Dealer - they do not even list it.
Anyone know where I can get one from please?
Do you have a spare laying around?
Thanks out there.

iirc those clips are not sold separate from the accordion turbo intake section...

Most aftermarket CAIs use a quality jubilee worm clip in lieu of those...

Jubilee won't fit with standard cover it plastic and oval iirc. Will have a look in my garage and see if I got that bit in my spares box but don't count in it. Lol

Hey mate, there's someone selling modified engine cover, which seems to come with all the extras for £20:

Including the spring clip/s you require

You could always tidy the cover up and sell on :happy2:
