"STOP" warning light appeared so I topped up with G13 and headed off to the indi to get help.
They pressure tested, found no leaks and gave me a slot on Tuesday so they could investigate further (I had a new water pump fitted recently)
To make a bad day worse the bloody ESP light was on when I got in the car at the garage :rolleye:
(mini rant) :signLOL:

always puts me on a downer when my car isn't running right
-
EGR cooler needs to be replaced as this has corrosion underneath causing the leak. That's £550 installed and a big chunk of my holiday (drinking) funds :rolleye:
next im off to the dealer to get a verdict on the ESP light cost. Hoping they will fix for free :happy2:
-
get the egr bypassed as that's on my list to do
-
Is that an easy straightforward job Is there a guide :happy2:

Bin the Egr and the Egr cooler, then get a stage 2 map. Overall it will cost the same but have better gains.
Its straightforward. Done a few over the years.

+1. Presuming you own a diesel, it is easier to do on the BKD (140) engine than the BMN (170) due to the EGR cooler being on the top. I also have a the pipe connector for joining the water hoses together if you decide to remove it :happy2:
