Title: What tyres?
Post by: N13SCB on August 11, 2013, 08:26:51 pm
I'm looking to get some new rubber for the front of the golf. At the moment I'm running parada spec 2 but I'm looking for a change.

What is recommended?

Thanks  :happy2:

As a million posts would suggest, Eagle F1 AS2's are a nice all round tyre, great for anything but the snow and ice (same for any summer tyre). :happy2:

^^^^ This.

And as mentioned, swap them all round, new rubber goes on the back! :happy2:

I know it's proper pratice, but I really wouldn't worry about putting the fresh meat on the rear unless it's winter, the fronts do WAY WAY more work than the rears... I tend to go through 2 sets of fronts tyres and pads over 1 rear; perhaps I'm a little harsh in the corners though, and like more grip upfront. :ashamed:

paradas are very good for the price.. if you want the best road tyre the michelin supersport will not be beaten
