Title: Has anyone used a de-cat off Ebay (£150- plenty sold!)
Post by: Gaz on August 13, 2013, 08:49:28 am
I spied these whilst looking at what was available, theyre 3" stainless, mandarel bent and only £150. Theyve sold plenty of them too and have good feedback!

I was going to buy a Pipewerx one but they make them to order so a 7-8 day wait!!! Stupid!

I need one ASAP so thought this could be worth a try? Be good if anyone has experience with them.

I think fitment and quality would be the main worries..

Ive just ordered a Pipewerx one, didnt want to risk the cheap Ebay ones!

Theyre probably like the Raceland manifolds i used to get for 106 GTI's, they were £139 compared to £500 for a 'quality' make, but they were an absolute work of art when they arrived- and turned out to be about the best manifold available power-wise for them!!

I have had one fitted for around 3 months - I had no issues with fitting it, sounds nice when opening it up and was a bargain at £130 new.
Made 215 bhp on r-techs rollers too.
Can sound a bit 'leaky' when first starting from stone cold, but I think this is just because of the large bore.

I would recommend
