Post by: cheungy on August 13, 2013, 01:34:49 pm

Historical Faults

Rocker Cover, PCV Threads gone...Had to replace, unable to re-tap

Common water leak from sh*tty SEAT Bonnet Design...
Water going in to cylinder 1 causing rapid Spark plug Corrosion!

PCV - 2 sets of PCV broke since owning the TFSI Sport
Resolved - Forge Oil Catch Can System

Dogmount Bolt Snapped - Replaced

Sub Frame Bolts Snapped - Replaced

Front Shocks Dead due to extra stress from lowered springs
Resolved - Shocks replaced

Coilpacks ...Faulty (common)
Replaced with Audi Red ones

Dead Engine mount due to age (wear & Tear)
Resolved - All-round Mounts upgraded

Diverter Valve's, Common Failure...
Gone through 2, still on OEM (Rev G)

Alarm Siren going mute
Resolved, eBay Special Replacement

Fuel Internals Seized - Autotech First gen known for breaking
Resolved, 2nd Gen Internals, Strong Protection Coating

2nd Engine, From BWA to BYD Engine -
Cause...Likely 3rd Piston Ring however not been checked!

Gearbox, 1st Gearbox broke...2nd Same (From a MK5 Box)
Rebuilt the latest box (3rd) and should be good until I need a 4th for next year...
Additional notes* My mechanic told me that my last 2 Boxes, 4th gear was completely dead! (oops)

MAF Sensor (Dead during Inters 13!?)

Front Small Radiator Fan Cracked
Replaced

Throttle body - Error G188 - Limp mode on Boost
Resolved, Revision Q

AirCon still dead! Annoying... :sad1:

Me at Inters 13! shocking time of 14.6... First time ever on the Strip, did about 20 odd runs...it was roasting in the Leon without air-con...MAF Sensor was dead, and Gearbox was problematic! (Shall try harder next time!) Warp speed was good 108mph! or something....
