Going to install a new exhaust on my car but to do so the standard exhaust needs to be cut 80mm from the lambada sensor. Is it a stupid idea to cut the exhaust whilst its on the car? My only fear is damaging the lambada sensor. I was going to use a 4 1/2" grinder with a 1mm blade to cut it.
Any help would be appreciated. Failing this I will just take it to my local exhaust garage to fit.
Thanks

For what it's worth I'd take it off the car. Working with an angle grinder is dangerous at the best of times, let alone above your head under a car. Just my opinion.

Was thinking of that as well lol. I will probably play safe and take it to a garage :)

Last time I did an exhaust under a car, working over my head on a jack, I knocked myself clean out! Swinging a lump hammer above your head and not concentrating doesn't really work :/
