Title: Rcd 500 , 10 speakers but no amp ?????

Can anyone tell me what the option was on the ED30 for audio upgrade.

The car I have incoming has 10 speakers , RCD 500 ( non mp3) , iPod/iPhone connection in centre arm rest, mini USB cable in glove box .

But it does not have he amp under the passenger seat.

Is this normal ?

The amp was a cost option I think , not all cars have them.

I have tried to check th chassis option codes

It says  : high end stereo

Guess that means rcd 500
