AG was covered before, noticed halfords are doing a premium type, would this be ok to use?
Thanks.

If you are under warranty stick to an approved one from the dealers.
-
I know a bloke who has a golf plus, he used something from Costco....it clogged up his jets in winter,...he had a mare getting it cleaned out...
-
I use the pink autoglym stuff in mine.
I think VW must approve of this as they supply it in the rip off Autoglym Lifeshine packs they flog with new cars.
-
:signLOL: I wouldn't bank on it!!
-
i swear by the AG stuff, i use the summer in the summer and the winter in....well you get the idea
although saying that i've recently topped it with 'all seasons'
it's not always the detergent that should make you choose a good screen wash its the viscosity, VAG jets block very easily

VW screen wash ... seriously....
I've used all sorts in various cars and never had a problem, just make sure you mix before you put it in if its a gel form one.
I have used the a carplan one from costco before, watered down and its been fine. A little strong smelling on occasion when not diluted enough.

VW screen wash ... seriously....
Yep, it's in the rules I'm afraid mate. Much like the 50x.xx oil scenario.
-
Oil I can understand but screen wash they can kiss my :booty:
rules are made to be broken
-
Can you not use washing up liquid?

Can you not use washing up liquid?
Looking at the state of your paint you'd think so
-
Now I even draw the line at washing up liquid
-
haha, i only use water in mine, purely because im a wax freak!
-
Wax or no wax dude, smearing a fat Cornish moth accross your screen would change all that
-
Moth, pah - I got a Pigeon on the way back from Wadebridge the other week!
-
The VW is quite cheap anyway £3.70 ish for 1 litre concentrate...makes 3 litres iirc. Just stick to that and there will be no warranty issues if by any chance it does clogg.
-
wow...you dont need to be diluting it that strong, you wanna be using about a 1/4 (250ml) per 3 litres this time of year or less.
that means you get about 12 litres from a bottle mate
