Title: Rs6 alloys on mk5 gti
Post by: a.j.baker14 on August 17, 2013, 08:52:36 pm
Hi guys I'm about to purchase a set of genuine s line/rs6 alloys they are 5x112, 8j and et43 now I'm guessing I will have no problem with fitting on but the tyres on them are 245/40/18 will these be ok for my car or am I likely to experience any problems? I'm just after a bit of advice, thanks in advance.

Standard are 225 ..but 245 will fit but 235 is a happy medium ...don't forget by going wider it alters the rolling radius I've just fitted audi rims to mine although at 17"  they are 8" wide with 47 et and I've found I can just get a finger between the wheel and front struts ..but with yours being 43et you should have more room

sent using my own fingers
