Post by: TomGTI on August 17, 2013, 09:27:58 pm
Got my car going in for a oil change, fuel filter change and mot soon pre remap and the garage I'm going to take the car to is likely to push for a engine flush, is this needed or just away to grab money?

Thanks

No.
Do not do it
waste of money
Does nothing except flush junk into your sump to be sucked up into the pickup and block it.

As said, not worth it.

If you want you could always have the sump off and replace the pick up pipe, depending on how they have been serviced the pick ups can get blocked with crap!

Did mine today, was surprisingly clean! Did that then filled her back up with some Millers Nanodrive, it's meant to be proper good stuff!
