A customer brought a wheel in of his 06 rav 4 - for a new tyre but the tyre machine was having trouble breaking the bead of the rim..Now we all have heard of run flat tyres but Toyota put a band in the rim that is attached to the alloy

a company i used to work for specialized in armored cars and bespoke DoD and MoD vehicles both foreign and domestic and they are something we fitted to all vehicles leaving the shop.. great but heavy bits of kit...

When I worked for vw the touraeg (can't spell it) had a very strange spare wheel...a non inflated tyre? That looks like the smallest profile that would even make the air ride fags jealous...it expands as you drive and makes a full tyre or summit like that..there getting technical lol
