Have a guestio about a full beam on xenon lights.
When you pressing a full mean on xenon headlights your side light lights up? Or is it the same like on new cars it opens the shatter on inside to give a full view? Don't know it as never saw it on mk5 golfs.
Got my self a genuine xenon lights for £50 as the been flooded well just one of them anyway so I put them a part.

I would say when you put main beam on the shutter opens turning it from a dipped xenon to full beam xenon ..along with normal h7 main bulb coming on
sent using my own fingers

Ok thanks if so ill try to convert this for standard mk5 without xenons. and try to make h7 only work when xenons off and when xenons are on only them to work without h7 bulb. See where I get
