Just wondering what the best fast road brake pads for my r32 set up on my gttdi which is running 220bhp at the moment
-
Legal: Standard
Illegal Street or Track: DS2500/3k / Carbone Lorraine / Pagid Blues or Endless if you have deep pockets
-
Tarox strada? Legal and good reviews. .
-
Pagid rs4-2
-
Just to add to the mix carbotech xp8. By far the best pad I've experienced but will destroy your wheels however clean you keep them.
-
Pagid rs4-2
do you not have to have a new, clean disc to put pagid pads on? or did i dream that?

These are road legal (ECE R90 approved):
- Cosworth StreetMaster
- Ferodo DS Performance
- Pagid "S" Clubsport
Performance will suffice on street with R32 set up. If you want better feel get Tyrol bushings.
BTW, when occasional tracking matters, consider the NEW Endless MXRS.

DS2500 get my vote :happy2:
-
Certainly sufficient for most "fast road". There are better non road legal pads though.
the best fast road brake pads
Endless MX72 and MXRS. Period.
:drinking:
-
Endless are about 400 per axle tho... :signLOL:
-
If you ask for the best, you have to pay the price.
Those who have tried the MX72 (many Megane RS drivers) or even the much more
expensive MA45B (> 800,-- per axle, endurance full track material) report about
unequaled wear characteristics. The pads last at least twice as long, and the rotors
do the same (with these pads). I bet the new MXRS cannot be any worse. Certainly
this will be my next brake pad. VERY certainly.
