Title: Edition 30 manual gearbox issues

Havnt had the car long and it whines in lower gears loudest, only seems to happen when clutch is engaged and I'm accelerating. It also crunches into 2nd gear. Car at vw garage and gearbox has been rebuilt twice with exact same problems still. Gears 1,2,3 have been changed along with bearings and synchros. Any ideas?

Maybe it's worth a new box? Instead of repairs.

They have finally agreed to put a new recon box in after all the messing about, it's on back order. Hopefully all will be sorted once that's in.
