Title: Strange traffic update

I took my mother in law to the airport this morning. On the way back I used the nav and it took me a long route and missed the Severn bridge. I'm guessing I had it set to avoid tolls, I'll check that in a bit. However more worryingly was the traffic update I got. I was told there was a 7 mile tailback of traffic and the nav added 2 hours on my arrival time. I didn't think there was a problem as I'd been listening to local radio all the way back. I carried on along my route and drove straight through the 'traffic'.... There wasn't one single car!!

Any ideas why it did this?

Must have been an old traffic problem that hasnt updated itself

I was often being diverted, sometimes miles stating traffic problems. One time over 40 miles! Ive disabled auto routing due to this and so far had trouble free motoring.
