Ok so I haven't got an ED30 but I do have an ed30 front splitter
Basically i'm looking to find out how people manage speed bumps with differant kits. If anyone can tell me what kit they use, what the ride's like and how slow they have to go over the average size speed bump or wether or not they scrape that would be ideal! :popcornsoda:
If you wanna include a piccy (ideal for the pic whores ) that would be even better!
Ideally I want a subtle drop without having to slow down to crawling pace over the speed bumps and definatly not scrape the shiney new splitter of mine
Cheer in advance, Sam

I have the H&R 35mm lowering spring on my ED30 and have no issues over the various speed bumps or car park ramps I have visited over the last 20K :happy2:
-
That sounds like just the ticket. How does the ride compare? Also does it make much improvement to the handling, slight reduction in body roll etc ? (ARBS do the best job at this I know!)
Finally :worthless:
Cheers, Sam

Looks spot on that, exactly as i would want it too sit. You on standard shocks? Looks lower than a 30mm drop too, but not decked so all good :jumpmove:
Cheers, Sam :happy2:

Yep still on the OEM shocks, and it's rides and handles really well. A little harder than stock but hardly noticeable :happy2:
-
I have sportlines on my standard shocks at the ride is grat, little firmer than standard but nothing to worry about. Its fine over speed bumps too :happy2:

Whats the stated 'loweringness' of these springs aparoon? Any pic's :popcornsoda:
Just looked at H&R and they seem quite pricey for just the springs?
-
I dont know the drop to be honest :ashamed:
I had just seen pics and knew that was the drop i wanted, i do have a pic but i dont know how to post it :rolleye:
EDIT - Found out how to work it :jumpmove:

Yeah the H&R's are a very popular choice. The Eibach Sportlines lower 25mm front and 20mm rear.

Completely unusable and impractical but fun for one night of posing around lol!

Seriously though if your after looking after your car and not really having to adjust your driving to get around the new lower ride height the most you would want to go is 30mm on springs..
