My rns510 won't play CDs,every time I put a cd in it,it will have a message pop up on the screen saying cd/DVD error...it was ok a few days ago..

Are these original or copied cds?

Both,original & copies...they used to work but not anymore,even originals brought from Hmv don't work..

Could be a problem with the laser. Will it play a dvd?

Eddie -NL has changed a few of these drives so it's not an unknown problem with this unit.

Tried to get hold of Eddie but no luck..has he gone on holiday?
