A car going round a track, well done VW for the imaginative idea there, ad' department really pulled out all the stops this time. :indifferent:

I wonder what sort of bowel movement would actually be caused by Sebastien Ogier, a new Golf R and a deserted racetrack.
Good fun I'd guess.

What an advert, it give the impression that its build for track....
they have been watching Hurdy's thread to get there new idea's
:signLOL:
If so about time...

I thought from the early photos that the R looked great. The video has made me realise it looks even better than I first thought. If I won the lottery I'd buy one immediately as my daily car. However I don't play the lottery so I'll have to stick with my ancient Mk5.

At least they can do it...can't wait to see how VW UK advertise a performance car when UK advertising rules state that you can't "promote speed, handling or images which may glorify innapropriate driving".

Hmmmm what about driving on top of a Hotel as per the Mk7 Gti advert, obviously perfectly safe :signLOL:

Appeals to my like of the discreet.
Why they've chosen to cut to a super-slow-mo shot of the front wheels spinning is beyond me though. Guess they still haven't got Haldex to work effectively yet.
-
looks better than the mk6 golf R! still a bit of a bus back end but not as bad :signLOL:
-
was playing on the R configerator today

Oooh. I like the 2nd set of wheels.

^^^ Me too. They're 19" Pretorias. You'd get a set for just shy of £3k I reckon.
-

-
Better than the sh*te standard wheels.
-
Rubbish advert... however i would be lying if I said I wouldnt have one.
-
Now I've seen it more I like it and love the 4 exhausts, in my eyes it's just the front that lets it down looks wise.
