Title: I HATE THIS FORUM!
Post by: danfalcon on September 02, 2013, 08:09:16 pm
Just to start off, i dont hate the forum, i hate what is does to me!

i come on here with innocent intentions of looking at what other people have done to their cars, what kind of faults are coming up, and general stuff

then it throws something shiny in my face and makes me spend all my money!

everytime i log on i end up adding eleventeen items to my already long list of stuff i "need"

but for some reason.... i wouldnt have it any other way

As long as you have enough left to pay back wonga.com and feed the kids their daily bowl of porridge I don't see your problem!

Self Control  :booty:

Quality - made me laugh - I used to have some of that!

Convinced myself I wouldn't change the ED30, and then I found excuses just to add 'this', and now I need 'that'...

However, I appreciate the info the forum the forum has given me in a small amount of time - know so much more about the mk5 now. Whilst the forum has made me spend money, it has saved me some money too (by avoiding VW!!).

Self Control  :booty:

difficult tho! i have come back after about a year's hiatus due to being at uni and not having access to my car which is now living life effectively as my parents' run around. i was back about a week and decided i wanted to do the caddy rear brake upgrade (which i purchased last week). car is sat at AKS waiting to have them fitted. i've also seen that DV+ OEM DV upgrade and i'm once again counting pennies. i've got 3 more years of uni and almost no money and this forum still manages to make me lose all self control!

worst thing about it is that despite me spending money on the car because i was intending to keep it at uni this year, i've ended up deciding it's not worth the hassle so it's going back to my parents and i won't even get to enjoy the new brakes!
