Title: Engine workshop (bad starting) g28 sensor
Post by: Robsta on September 03, 2013, 04:57:30 pm
Hi Guys

Last couple of days my 2005 gt tdi has been hard to start & has glowplug light flashing.

Tested with vcds & came up with the following:

16706 Engine speed sensor (g28)
P0322-000- no signal- MIL ON

03:ABS Brakes
Component front mk60. 0103
Coding 0023170

My questions are is it just the speed sensor I change & where the hell is it, also is it easy to change?

Any help is appreciated as my car takes a while to crank over & is doing my head in.
Cheers lads

Hi All

Have come across some more info, g28 is crankshaft sensor.

If so where the heck is that on the engine & is it easy to replace & will it need coding??

Cheers Rob
