Wheels are interesting matey.

I'm quite impressed with the choice, nothing token wheel or scene queen  :happy2: Different without being silly.
Keen to see how they'll work and look having run silver wheels on my Steel Grey GTI.

I've got AP's on the A3 and they're plenty low enough for rubbing and hassle if I wanted to leave them at that height. I'm personally not into the slammed look but a drop that sits the arch on the top of the tyre profiles is fine by me.

Keep up the mods and updates

You can tuck tyre easy without needing a skit plate on a mk5 , you just need the right sizw wheels for the car !

17s are way to small
18s are perfect
19s can be done if you know how to stance :)

My old mk5 on 19s

Nice car!

What bulbs are you running for the fulls? Brand? Opinion? Life span?
And the fogs, are they film?

I fancy doing mine.

Cheers, yh I agree it does need to go lower and it will soon. Yh I like the induction kit a lot, does make a fair amount of induction noise and you can here it dump, but I like the sounds so all good for me :)

The bulbs in the high beam are just some yellow bulbs I got from euro car parts, I've had them in a few weeks now and they seem good. The full beam is now yellow tho but I don't really mind jus looks cool when you catch it just right, the full beam looks all yellow  :happy2:

Yar - different, wheels look smart on the car.

I'm not into slammed cars, although I agree that a slightly bigger drop on the rear would definitely help. If you can afford to go lower at the front too (if the component/practicality allows) then that would be a bonus and really push to 'pull' the wheels and stance off.

Still think this is the first time I've seen those wheels on a MK5 around the forums and meets, pretty cool.

Come up with a bit of a problem, wheels are too small and I can't get low enough :( so I've found some landrover monodials for sale and am considering them, now would anyone be interested in these wheels? And also have four brand new 194/45r17 aswell

Looks really smart love the choice of wheels. May even be able to add a little spacer on the back with that tyre choice just o mix it up a bit if your planning on running a little lower.  For me tho I only think it need a little drop. Really like it so far.  A tts engine cover would also look ace with those wheels   :happy2:

Wheels don't suit it for me!

Look tiny and just the wrong style for a GTI.

Defo need some bigger wheels on there!

Nice car otherwise bud.

Got bit of a update, I got myself a votex rep splitter. I know some people might moan but oh well lol for the price I paid for it, it was worth it. I'm probably only gonna scrap it somewhere anyway.

So it's all painted now and ready to fit and I'll get some pics up on the weekend, might leave it till after the snow and horrible weather to fit on the car. Not to keen on becoming a snow plough this winter lol.

Anyway pics to follow and gonna give it a good winter clean this weekend too.
