Title: My first RS4 experience...
Post by: berg on September 06, 2013, 09:36:38 am: well that has thrown a cat amongst the pigeons.

Went out in Pipewerx's B7 450bhp avant last night, the sound was :jumpmove: and the power delivery so linear right through to the redline.

so was looking at s4 avant and vrs estate but cant help but think one of these would be more fun and more depreciation proof too?

apparently manifold not coked up, my eddie was at 361bhp last time was dyno'ed at Sedox and this felt far quicker than mine top end

from a previous thread i posted i was under the impression that they always made stock power from the factory but then this quickly diminished if inlet valves got coked up, so providing has no such issues would they not make a such power as claimed?

Last time I did that I got a 15 month ban.. :scared: Long story that I have no interest in going into again, but to conclude, RS4's struggle to make their power and unless they are highly modified and have been de-coked, they will struggle to shake off a 300bhp hatchback in a straight line..
