Hi guys,

Just put down a deposit on an 08 plate ED30. Never had a Golf before let alone a GTI. I'm literally over the moon, can't wait to pick it up.

Completely different animal to my current EP3 Type-R.

Hoping to learn a bit on here!

Quick update:

Sold my Type-R yesterday in a record 4 hours so I'm picking up the ED30 this weekend. Literally buzzing!!

Was through Autotrader. I listed it in the morning and it was gone at lunch. Was nothing special, just a standard clean car. Loved it but I 'outgrew' it if that made sense. I wanted something less chavvy and less common and I think I've made the right choice!

Iv had my gti for 6 months and still smiling. You truely dont know how good the car is until you own it. It still suprises me!
