Title: Timmyb's Mk5 Tornado Red GT - my new 'J-Lo' mod
Post by: Timmyb007 on September 08, 2013, 02:56:53 pm
Hi

I haven't put any pictures up here before; and this isn't the greatest. But hopefully gives us diesel drivers some ideas about how to improve our rear end  :ashamed:

I had this painted and fitted yesterday and I am very pleased with the results; its a genuine R-Line lower rear bumper / valance.

Thanks
Tim

I need to do this to mine! did you do the skirts, or the front splitter? Im contemplating doing mine but as funds are low I just want to do the back but not sure how it will look as a whole on the car!

Just the rear for me. I have a 5 door and it's not lowered (I don't have the skirts or splitter anyway), so in that context I think it looks OK. I'll add some other pics when I get the chance. Not sure if you can order these from VW anymore but got mine on eBay from Poland, genuine, in silver - just needed painting first. Improves the standard rear no end for those without an exhaust, which is how I wanted to keep it.

Thanks
