Title: RNS 510 - 2 questions

hey folks

I have just had my RNS 510 fitted and i have a couple of questions/issues

firstly, i had an ipod dock in my armrest before, the sound comes through but it isnt very good quality - it keeps going from clear and fine to quiet and grainy, all other media sources work fine

secondly, how do i get the track and playlist names to appear on the screen as i only get playlist 1-5 and track #
any help appreciated

1st issue

Swop the black wire (Ground) on the Blue plug from pin 2 to pin 3

If it is the basic ipod dock then it won't display track names

is this the ipod dock rather than MDI?

I belive that playlists 1-5 are the first 5 playlists on your ipod, number 6 is all the songs on the unit

Yeah it is mate, my issue was the fact that song names werent coming up rather just the numbers, but eddie said that its because of the dock i have
