Post by: treilly on September 09, 2013, 08:42:47 pm
Hi guys. Just thought I'd get involved in the forums now I've got my Ed30. I've had it about 10 days now and I Absolutley love it ! It has a APR stage 1 map so it's running around 300 Bhp. In love with it. Ill try upload some pics soon.

Looking forward to talking to you lot !

Tom.

Welcome Tom!

Great looking ED30 you have there - I'm seriously considering having mine mapped after a year of it as standard. Still feels quick to me, so a mapped one must be slightly bonkers...

Doesn't look like yours is on the standard suspension - it seems to be a nicely lowered & even ride height?!

Cheers,

Dave

Thanks for the welcome ! It's lowered 40mm all around. Love the car to bits. Mine has the APR map on it so it can be put back to standard. I tried it and the difference is just amazing. I couldn't imagine driving it without the map. Just pulls like a train in 3rd onwards. I highly recommend getting a map on yours. Stage 2 is tempting but I don't wana out too much money into it. Always the case  :sad1:

Leave it Stage 1 and keep your cash for a clutch/flywheel, unless your rolling in it   300bhp is a lot of power already, 1st and 2nd gears are virtually unusable at Stage 1 (mine was, esp in the wet)  :driver:  Have you sorted your brakes ?

Funnily enough I was there yesterday ! 1 minute down the road from me. A helpful bunch. ! Just don't know what to get. Do I go for a cat back as I'm looking for a nice loud noise and also something to boost performance

If you don't use it on a track it really is not worth it  :innocent:
