Afternoon all,
I need a new parcel shelf as I have broken one of the 'lugs' - don't ask. I phoned up Mr VW and got a price for one and I was shocked at how much one is: £168.13 inc vat. Can I do better??
Cheers

ebay

Search ebay or gumtree, always find people breaking cars on there, be careful on gumtree with sending money though!
VW would sell a hell of a lot more parts and accessories if they didn't charge rediculous prices!

Repare it yourself, i did mine. Drilled down the middle of the lug, put in a small plastic lug or bar, got a length of plastic tubing from ebay for a few penies, then fixed lug on other end bit of glue..........fixed.
Works a treat and saves on a new parcel shelf :)

Some, possible all of the R32 rear parcel shelves have a storage net on the underside - ebay is your friend :)
