Title: Coding new Gateway - help!
Post by: Wolfsburggti on September 10, 2013, 08:35:53 pm
So i have installed a new gateway, sourced through Eddie on here, as I have upgraded from an rcd300 to 310.  Managed to get it all installed (what a ball ache installing the gateway is) and then opened vcds to code the new gateway.

All i have done is ticked the relevant boxes in the installation list, going off what i had on the old gateway.

However, Vcds is saying the gateway is incorrectly coded and i have dash faults for airbag, rear left fog and reverse light.

I feel there is something obvious I'm missing when coding the new gateway.  Do I have to do something other than just tick the relevant boxes in the installation list??!!

Hi

You should have PMd me so I could assist earlier

1st you need to make sure you have a Workshop code entered on your VCDS

Coding Long coding tick the box for RHD

and check the installation list for either items missing or extra items that are ticked

clear faults
