-
I'll pop over to this as its only over the bridge
-
big bridge
-
Tapatalk playing up again saying its not posted lol, I'll sort it now

Not sure about this one.
I live very near to Bluewater and was quite looking forward to it, however if it were to be judged on the website made for it, and the coverage on FB so far, I get the feeling it's not going to be that great...
Add that to the £15 entry on the door when Inters was only £12.50 and I'm finding hard to convince myself to go. I'm still trying to get over the £22 per person for Prept at Brands Hatch back in June!
Bah humbug. Apologies. Moan over, see you there.
-
Seeing as prept is usually £2, the summer showdown was worth the £22 :P I agree, it does look shabby regarding the website but and indoor VAG show on your door step needs some attention! :notworthy:
-
Unfortunately I will not be able to make this either.
Taking the kids to the cinema and can't be asked to make way thereafter. :sad1:
-
£15 is pretty standard for a VW show. For an indoor show with some of the nicest cars in the country it should be great.
I'll be there on the Homegrown stand, we will be inside somewhere (not sure where lol)
Inters was crap to be fair the surface and layout was dreadful.
Players was the same.
-
Xjay im gonna hunt you down and smear your car up! Fingerprint timmme! :P
-
I would cry.
It's far from mint with dents and sh*t anyway. :scared: :scared:
-
I'm probably gonna pop over and have a look at some point in the day, can't be worse than the tenner I paid for a vw show at battlesbridge
-
Agreed, the facilities at Inters weren't great, but there was still a great turnout and plenty of traders there.
Am willing to give this one the benefit of the doubt as it's the inaugural event, it would just be nice to have a bit more info to go on as it has no rep yet if that makes sense.
Anyone have an idea of the number of vehicles that will be on display indoors?
-
Anyone know what time this thing starts and finishes?
-
Public gates open 10am
-
10 am start
-
Will be going along to this aswell. Be interesting to see what it will be like
-
Looking forward to popping to this one tomorrow :happy2:
-
Yes that's correct.
I said 10am last night and this crappy forum didn't accept my post (again.)
See you tomorrow hopefully, those who are going at least.
-
Ill be going :happy2:
-

So many lows! Haha, everything was decked! Was beautiful!
-
Yay for having to stay til 5. After getting up at 4.am
-
Was a very good event, nice car as well Jay! that mk4 next to yours with the mk5 r32 rear looked cool as hell too! some seriously awesome cars on show. Well worth the £15 entry!
-
Thanks mate
Yes that one is James' (pearly-white).
Lot of work gone into the bodywork, everything is metal, if you didn't notice, it's actually a 5 door not a 3 door, rear quarter windows pop open rather than go down, 3 years in the making. :happy2:
-
Have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this show. It was way bigger than I expected when you add the two floors together, along with the outdoor parking area.
Also, there were more traders there than I thought. Picked up a few Dodo Juice bits.

Sounds awful... pics?

I don't like the overall package but the amount of work that has gone into it shames pretty much any other car out there on the scene, aside from one which is being built up and painted as we speak. :popcornsoda:

Yess I noticed, I agree wouldn't be my first choice of car but as a piece of work its amazing the amount of effort that gone into it!
-
Wow, yes not for me either but the work is second to none!
