hi, new to the forum I have a mk5 golf gti with a standard headunit and was hoping to get a sub fitted where the wheel arch is, but can it all be fitted to the standard headunit

some help is needed

Don't quote me on this, but I'm not sure this can be done with some standard stereos such as RCD300.. Anyone else clear this up? :ashamed:

You can buy a converter that taps into speaker cable and gives you an RCA output so you can wire up an amp.

I think you lose the speakers that you plug this into not 100% anyone know ???
