Title: original make brake pads ED30

Can anyone please tell me what original brand of Brake pads VW put on the ED30's.
Also can any one suggest anything better ( do get the occasional dreaded squeak, they are not down to the metal !! ).
Any input appreciated.

The brakes are the same on Ed30 and GTI.
