Title: How long will my battery last with old canbus?

I've just got my RCD510 in the post, but the canbus won't be here 'til tomorrow.
I won't have time to fit the stereo and canbus tomorrow, and the car is going into the garage for work..

So my question is: If I fit the stereo now, how long will it likely be before the battery is drained and I can't start the car?

There are actually modified firmwares that prevent the battery drain issue.

Ah I didn't know that, but I've already bought a canbus haha!
Any idea on the battery?

I'll probably be leaving it at midnight tonight, and starting 'er up at half 8 tomorrow morning.
Reckon it'll be okay?

Normally battery drain happens overnight. 

I left mine from 8pm to 8am and got battery drain.
