Title: computer help

had a old computer tower in the attic so i thought I would set it up in the kids room.The computer goes to the you have switched the computer of  screen blaublau then the windows symbol comes up and just sticks on that,any body got a fix or does windows xp need re loading back on

How old is the machine? Does it have a restore partition?

As above, hold F8 or CTRL when booting up and it will give a menu if there are other boot partitions.
