Title: RCD 510 and mk6 climate fitting.

I want to fit an RCD510 and mk6 climate control panel with heated seat buttons to my 2005 gti. What parts other than the 2 units themselves and a new can gateway do i need to do this? Is the climate a straight swap or is there another facia/surround needed? Cheers  :happy2:

Yes, there's another facia needed. P/N is 1K0 858 069 M 1QB.

As far as I'm aware it not success full on every model before late 2007 - then if it is,you've got to do the basic setting to the flaps with VCDS, since the heater panel has been removed.

So that facia will fit my original set up to accommodate the mk6 climate controls? Cheers for the info.
