Alright guys i was wondering if anyone has fitted a Forge or any atmosphere blow off valve to their GTI? Any problems or suggestions about them?

will it lower BHP as its not recirculating it back in ? would i be better getting the uprated valve i was reading up somthing about VW made them plastic but better to get one which is metal? Also people saying fit a mk6 one on a mk5?

I had one on my old golf for 2hrs and took it straight back off. It literally sounds like the noise air brakes make on a bus! Don't waste your money!
Money better spent on a revision G diverter valve as this will help with holding boost as I assume you will have the revision C which can fail at anytime.
You can get a bit of turbo chatter with an intake if thats what your looking for

This was something I was also thinking about fitting but to be hionest I really don't no a great deal about them any more info would be great ?
already thinking it seems like a fairly pointless change seems better to save up more for a intake system ?

A friend had one on his GTi and it sounded gash!

My car has a Forge diverter valve and a Neuspeed intake, they make a lot of whooshing and dumping noises when your going for it, or if you get the turbo spooling up.. Also running stage 2 so higher boost will probably increase turbo noises..
