Title: front wipers not working

hi guys mk5 gti wiper problems, they dont work from the stalk, but some one has wired a rocker swith down by the fuse box that turns them on. wash works on the stalk, tryed a new stalk and fuses what sends the signal to the wiper unit/ cheers

Have you tried a new relay?

Be a relay or wiring if you tried a known good stalk and a working fuse (if indeed you did replace the right fuse.. it's under the bonnet in that fusebox)

Also wipers not going to work if the bonnet is open (or car thinks the bonnet is open)

hi cheers for replys, yeah ive checked the bonnet switch and its fine, wheres the relay, and what sends the signal 2 the motor module as i belve it has a permant live cheers

My approach would be to scan the car first to see what VCDS shows up  - then do few testes with VCDS  - since the cars been tampered with!

SORTED! wondered why this was doing my f*cking head in, all the strange readings i was getting, got another motor and ound the 1 in there was completly different had 207 writen in black pen on it so f*uck knows wasnt for this car. is ther a turbo change guide about.. many thanks people
