Thank the gods we have them here...I almost went for the 245/35 SS's, but no way will those fit....I cannot get a finger between the tire and fender as it is with the 225/40-18's. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Michelin&tireModel=Pilot+Super+Sport&sidewall=Blackwall&partnum=24YR8PSSXL&tab=Sizes

Thank goodness they're still on track and a coming.
Be needing new boots after the 'winter season'.
And current PS3's are getting a bit low in tread. Plenty legal but not as deep as I'd like.

For all those already running PSS in whatever sizes. Are they as good as we hope so worth the wait for 92Y etc?

I've been using the 88's for a while now. Couldn't wait.  Fantastic tyre.

Pretty lame in the wet by all accounts.  So not really a tyre for our UK climate, unless its prodominately track work then...

They won't be 100 quid a corner like the F1s though.

NS about the 888's. I run Sumitomo HTR Z III's in Oregon's damp season(8 to 9 months)...also, just a tad damp ;p
I run SS's on a spare set of wheels for the track/dry season.
My Sumi's are quite nice regardless if it's rain or shine.

Supersports are amazing in the wet.  Better than the goodyears.  You cant compare the SS's to R888's.  Totally different. SS's are not a track day tyre.

You must be thinking of the Pilot Sport Cups?

I think he means Cups too, I certainly haven't died in the wet yet.

If the Eagles are better in the wet I will stick with them.

I have 235/35/19 Supersports and they are by far the best tyres I've used in the wet, it's really surprising how well they grip.

Even though they aren't a Track day tyre the SS can hold their own on track, i won't mind using them on track again, they were phenominal at Donington when i was there  :happy2:
