Title: DSG Holding Gear
Post by: silent dubber on October 01, 2013, 09:58:48 am
Hello,

I have noticed that my car is holding 3rd gear a lot in "D" it will rev up to 5000 then change to 4th, soon as i slow down just under 40mph back into 3rd feels like its in "S"

Does anyone know if there is a software update for the DSG box or is it the ecu playing up, my car is a 2006 model, my cars not been mapped yet.

Harvey

Think there referring to the DSG reset:

Would like to give this a go myself as mine seems to shift up to early, but not much chance of holding high revs in 3rd upwards on an island  :driver:
