Title: help asap seats

I have a 2004 golf gti, im after some leather seats ive been told I will have no problems with wiring even though they are heated just plug and play. My question is will the plug on the 2008 seats fit my 2004 car need help asap

The plugs will be different under the seats iirc

From what I recall GTI plugs were different to tdi ones, so either the pins can be swapped to the new plug, or chopped and soldered (but then they'll need cut every time the seats come out).

I think they changed plugs at around 2006, so 2008 seat plug may not plug into your car. It may only be the airbag plug that is different. As Skard said, if the plugs are different either buy new ones or cut yours off and solder yours on.

Also if your car doesnt have heated seats already, they wont plug in and work. You need all the wiring and a different set of dials where temp and fan speed are
