Hi all,
Just a question about the 'service now' message that's appeared on my high line.
I've just had a service about 3 weeks ago at GNJ Motorsport. Think they used bag com to reset the service message which was on at the time, and it stayed off until recently when the car has started displaying it again.
Anyone know more about the behaviour of the light? Is it just a timer or is it telling me there's something wrong. If it's just a timer why would it have come back on if gnj reset it with my service?
Many thanks

It's just a timer, maybe they didn't do it correctly. Or if you have it on long life setting, possibly an issue with the sensor that monitors quality of the oil

I can see where they went wrong, they used "BAG COM"
LOL sorry could'nt resist

Take it back to them.

Just give them a call they will sort it no problem :happy2:

Give us a call Monday mate, we will sort it for you.
We sometimes have an issue getting the light to go off with VCDS, we have had it a few times with Mk5 Golf's and S3's but other VAG cars seem to work first time every time. However we have never had one come back on a few weeks later, they just still have the service indicator on when we restart them so we turn it off a different way. Very strange.
Anyway, give us a call and speak to Joe about it.
