Title: radio issue
Post by: pdesai79@hotmail.com on October 05, 2013, 10:11:36 pm
Hi there,

just wanted to ask a question really, since this morning my radio is not turning on when i turn the key in the ignition, wondering whether its an ignition switch issue or some kind of setting that needs changing somewhere.  the car hasnt had any work done on it since january for service/mot.  any ideas?

In your case either a fuse or the radio has failed internally sounds favourite to me  - if you've got access to VCDS scan the vehicle and come back with the results.

well the radio itself works, i just have to hit the on button every time, but i wasnt sure if there was a link between the ignition switch and the radio which meant the radio wouldnt activate like normal
