Is it a big job to fix the high level brake light on mk5 golf gti?
-
take it the pixels have gone in the light.Vw say you have to take the spoiler of to replace it as the mountting bolts are facing in wards but thier is a guide on here where you break the light out carefully and fit the new one
Here is the guide

Its easier if you drill the light and brake the plastic rather trying to use a trim removal tool. It will save damage to your paint work. Use a peg to stop the cable from going back inside the spoiler. Its just long enough to unplug the cable, its a pain in the arris to remove the cable if it drops inside. :fighting: the link is a good guide above btw

Nice one, any idea where to buy the new brake light from?
