Title: Are all mk5 bonnet hinges the same?

Not surprisingly a google search revealed nothing!

Bought my 56 plate GTI a few days ago and the engine cover wasn't seated correctly, it was raised near the oil filler cap.
I couldn't see any dents in the bonnet so I thought all was good and thought nothing of it......

All was not good.... Whilst doing an oil service today I noticed one of the rubber locating from its we're missing so I nipped to the stealers and bought one (£3.65) and fitted the cover BUT... I the notice the driver side bonnet hinge has been cracked meaning its a good 5mm proud where it meets the window!  :sick: I cannot live with this lol

So after my boring story can anyone tell me if a hinge from any mk5 bonnet will be a direct swap? I know I'll need to re-set the bonnet at the least.
