Title: head units

can sumone help me with these head units, ive got an 06 gti and a rcd300 fitted, I want to upgrade to an rcd510, will I need one of them can bus things to stop it draining my battery? is there any other things I need to upgrade to an rcd510?      :confused:

You will need;

£80   New Gateway (speak with Eddie-NL, he can provide them precoded)
£10   Fakra antenna adapter bought from ebay - http://tinyurl.com/keozfav (http://tinyurl.com/keozfav)
£250 RCD-510 head unit. They sometimes come up on here but you can also get them on ebay. Make sure the head unit comes with the security code and is from a UK car NOT from China!

I've bought an rcd 510 DAB, will I need sum sort of aerial adaptor?

You don't need one BUT I'd get one and for around £10 you may as well. FAKRA antenna adapters are available from eBay....
