Post by: Jonathon555 on October 11, 2013, 07:06:42 pm
I have finally got round to clearing all the junk out of my garage . So i need some inspiration to make it smarter.

Looking at painting walls white , getting new flooring,

Thats where my ideas end, anyone got any picks of their tricked up garages ?

Painted floor, plenty of lighting if you can detail in there. Rack out the back with plenty of storage, or use old kitchen units so you can have a work bench. A radio and beer fridge  :signLOL:

An old automtive car signs to put on the walls.

As above I spent a few cold nights painting bricks. It doesn't cost to much, it can be done for a few hundred

Of course it doesn't help if you change the colour of your car and then have clashing colours.  :rolleye:

Its all about the prep. I vacuumed my floor twice. Mopped it twice. The floor was newly scraped, so I didn't etch it. However, the first coat was diluted with 10% water. Then 2 additional coats. I just used ronseal diamond hard garage floor paint. No peeling so far. Important to let tyres cool a bit first.
