Lots of poke.  2 inches further out than a Monza wheel. It all depends what you consider a lot though.

Here are 9.5 et 35 at the front

Et25 will stick out further by 10mm.

I recently bought a set off staggered rims at ET35 with 8.5 fronts & 9.5 rears... that set up bought about ALOT of contraversy in terms of the fitment and work needed to make them fit... what you are asking is insane.... They definately will not fit without some serious work  :happy2:

The CHASSIS is the same but the bodywork is different the Scirocco have wider arches and different bodywork so you can get another 20-30mm over the equivalent Mk5..
Read my guide on fitment it'll answer your questions.

That will work but it will be tight and right on the limit of what you can use really.
You'll need 205/40 or 215/35 fronts and 225/40 rears.
Ideally you want to have your front arches rolled.

As jay said they won't fit , the thread is very helpful indeed...

Jay what about a 9x19" et 38 with a good stretch maybe a 215 tyre on the front and 235 on the rear

Well in my guide I recommended no lower than a 19x9 et 41 , you could fit those but you may catch the arch if you're low, and would look odd if you are now low.

Are the et's on Mk5 & 6 different ?

Not vastly no.
Chassis is the same, as with the Scirocco the bodywork may be different.

Porsche 3piece split rims, fronts are 18" 8.5 et52 & rears are 9.5 et49, I'm guessing due to needing spacers these would poke a bit on the rear ? If so would swapping the centre make them easier to get on ?

15-18mm adaptor up front with 205/40 or 215/35 and rolled arches you will be fine
Rears 15-18mm adaptor you will be fine as well with camber and 225/40 tyres.
