Title: New Oem Dipstick

Just had my new dipstick turn up from TPS and it's bright yellow!!??

Anyone know why it's yellow and not the normal orange colour? The part no is the same..


The only thing I can think, is that my original one was the normal orange colour and I noticed some hair line cracks in it and it's been superseded but I would have thought they'd change the part no!?


Anyone in the know?

Just got my new yellow dippy from tps

No idea why its yellow but it does the job !

The idea is - items in yellow are for owner adjustment oil,water etc  - some European Standard.

I had to replace mine and I got it from mail dealer for about £9 iirc and it was orange.
